Summary

During the staff report the parks presenter reviewed progress on Prop B and other capital projects. On Garrison Park the presenter said the original schematic design budget was "over 15,000,000" but after revisions staff had "pretty much got it to around 11,000,000 so far" and final construction plans are expected by the end of the calendar year, contingent on council budget decisions.
Staff also gave a timeline for trail projects and smaller park work: invitation for bid for Goddard Creek Trail Phase 2 was expected at the end of the month with contractor selection in September or October; Onion Creek Trail final drawings and permitting were in staff's hands with advertising scheduled that month and bidding targeted for September; Stone Ridge Park's playground had been ordered with delivery in roughly four weeks and solar lights installed, and City Park would receive green-room remodels and irrigation repairs.
