At 7:11 PM the board voted 7–0 to enter closed session to discuss exceptions enumerated in the Open Meetings Act: (a) appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees; (b) collective negotiating matters and salary schedules; (c) security procedures and the use of personnel and equipment to respond to threats to safety; and (d) placement of individual students in special education and other student-specific matters. Lance moved to enter closed session and Dilliner seconded; the board reconvened at 7:37 PM on a unanimous vote.
