District Manager Brandon Powell updated the board on infrastructure and utility matters. He said Plains Pump Company repaired the gas pump but it remains shut off pending an inspection by VTECH environment services and noted "there is a high probability that the pump and surrounding soil will need to be removed." The manager also reported that a draft contract for the waterfall donation is under review by the district attorney and that Matt Witt will submit funds once the contract is approved.
Powell said Freese and Nichols provided a spreadsheet describing the McMillan Dam process and timeline that staff will distribute, and that five water meters have been changed because of corrosion and leaks. TCEQ discrepancies remain under correction by staff.
