At its Oct. 8 meeting the Lubbock County WCID No. 1 Board voted unanimously to increase several user fees effective Jan. 1, 2025. The board approved raising ATV/UTV admission fees to $30 per unit, golf cart fees to $10 per unit, boat/jet ski admissions to $40 per unit and a boat/jet ski annual pass to $135 per unit; camping fees for Campgrounds A, B and S will increase to $40 per night.
Director Joel Prock moved the fee changes and Director Kade Garner seconded. The increases were framed in the packet as adjustments to the fee schedule; staff did not present a detailed fiscal projection in the minutes but the board adopted the changes and set the effective date for Jan. 1, 2025.
