Public Works presented several transportation and sewer infrastructure proposals for the city's capital plan. The department recommended culvert replacement on Fernside and Highway 123 and sidewalk installations along Big A Road at Roselane and at Rothell Road to extend pedestrian sidewalks.
Officials also raised the need to upgrade sewer lines on Big A Road to connect to existing sewage infrastructure in response to community growth. No engineering reports or cost estimates were included in the meeting minutes; commissioners were asked to prioritize these projects for the budget.
