Administration presented a revised strategic plan draft that incorporates lessons from the Portrait of a Graduate work, adding clearer articulation of curriculum and student/staff outcomes and embedding student and staff safety as a 3–5 year target.
A staff member said the updated plan will be treated as a one‑year look while the portrait work finishes; the board will revisit the left‑hand strategic framework sections after the portrait is finalized. The administration suggested Lisa Sitkin could assist in aligning the board strategic plan with the portrait work, though that service was not part of the current agreement.
Board members praised the work and asked for an updated review during the June meeting; administrators said they will bring the plan back to the June board meeting for further discussion and a potential approval later in the summer.
