Wright listed upcoming events and resources for seniors and residents: the Buda Citizens Academy begins Sept. 4 (class full), an SH-45 Gap update meeting Aug. 29 at Sunfield Event Center Station, a Buda job fair on Sept. 17 at City Hall (hosted by the Economic Development Corporation), the Buda Arts Festival Sept. 17—21 downtown, and the inaugural Railcar Revival Music Festival on Nov. 9, 2024, with a lineup released by staff. He also noted regular library and youth programs and encouraged commissioners to coordinate web postings and communications through the new communications lead.
