Teresa Greer, chairman of the Surgoinsville Medical Board, presented a donation to install a new basketball court at Riverfront Park estimated at approximately 28 feet by 80 feet. The board accepted the donation; Alderman Collier moved to approve and Vice‑Mayor Jarnagin seconded. The vote was unanimous.
The board authorized Alderman Randall Collier to serve as a consultant to assist Teresa Greer and the Medical Board with the project and approved Katina Smith and Teresa Greer to install a Library Box near the walking track entrance, with the Medical Board paying for materials. Both motions passed unanimously.
