Task force votes to meet quarterly with monthly consultant updates

At the recommendation of several members and consultants, JW Gibson moved that the task force shift its scheduled meetings from monthly to quarterly, with monthly written updates from consultants to keep members informed between meetings.
"I moved that we, move our meeting dates from a monthly perspective to a quarterly perspective with monthly report updates coming from our consultants," JW Gibson said during the motion. The motion was seconded and the chair called for a voice vote. "All those in favor, say aye," the chair said; after no opposed were raised the chair announced, "The motion carries."
Members said quarterly in-person meetings paired with monthly email summaries would strike a balance between oversight and the practical pace of procurement and design tasks. The committee set its quarterly meeting cadence for the third Thursday at 1:30 p.m., with the next meeting scheduled for October 16.
