Commission addresses fallen tree, mowing complaints and stone maintenance

Operations manager Joe Mangan reported crews will address a large dead tree that has fallen across the bottom of the Village Cemetery driveway and that there remain numerous headstones needing to be straightened. He offered that if the trunk is cut up, "I can have the guys take care of the branches," and said crews would be in the cemetery next Monday or Tuesday.
Susan Lyons raised complaints from a Mr. Brown and others showing grass splatter and clumps on lower-field stones; Joe said crews normally use blowers and brushes to clean immediately after mowing and that he would show crews the photographs so they can target the affected bottom row.
