Commission reviews Williamstown LHMP survey—only nine responses; members urged to repost

Sam Lash, CVRPC planner, reviewed the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) survey results and said the town received nine responses. "I have also given you each a copy of the Williamstown LHMP survey results – we had '9' responses," Lash told the commission and recommended reposting the survey on Front Porch Forum to expand outreach.
Chair Rich Turner relayed a concern from a recent public sidewalk meeting about a property off Construction Hill where added crushed rock may be worsening downstream runoff and flooding. The commission asked staff to track stormwater concerns as part of the hazard-mitigation review and to include the LHMP survey in broader outreach ahead of the August meeting.
