Town manager reports My Williamstown app launch; utility budget training and contract review underway

Town Manager Ryan Lockwood told the Selectboard the My Williamstown mobile app was launched July 3, 2026; he reported about 50–70 downloads so far and said outreach and posters are continuing to encourage use. "He will continue to inform the public of the app and posters have been hung throughout Town," the minutes state.
Lockwood also reported on a Utility Budget Information training in Montpelier where he reviewed water system budgeting best practices. He said he met the owner of Simon Operation Services, the town's current water and sewer operator, and scheduled a follow-up meeting to review contractual details before the current contract expires this year. Separately, staff reported progress on the Flint Road rehabilitation project: required materials have been secured, a hammer attachment ordered, and the town is evaluating alternative grader rental options after the unit they were pursuing was sold.
