Board reviews handbooks, plans and safety policy; substitute-list addition tabled

Several informational agenda items were presented at the Sept. 15 Lovelady ISD meeting. Administrators reviewed proposed revisions to the 2025–26 student handbook, the 2025–26 teacher handbook, campus and district plans, the elementary Local Improvement Plan, the Emergency Operations Plan and the LISD Police Department policy and procedures manual; the minutes list each item as informational with no board action requested.
Separately, the agenda item to approve an addition to the substitute list was tabled because no substitute had signed up. The minutes record no vote on that item. The principal and superintendent provided reports recorded as information only; no follow-up actions or deadlines were specified in the minutes.
