Lovelady ISD Board approves multiple 2025–26 policies and plans, including wellness and parent engagement

At the Sept. 15 meeting the board approved several district policies and plans for the 2025–26 school year. The Professional Development Plan was approved on a motion by Michelle Murray, seconded by Beverly Moore (vote reported 6-0-0). The Parent and Family Engagement Policy was approved on a motion by Beverly Moore, seconded by Joel Shoemaker (vote reported 6-0-0).
The board also approved its goals and calendar (motion by Rusty Baker, second by Pat Allen), ratified School Health Advisory Committee membership (motion by Joel Shoemaker, second by Pat Allen), approved the district Wellness Plan (motion by Beverly Moore, second by Pat Allen), and approved the Attendance Manual (motion by Michelle Murray, second by Beverly Moore). Each action is recorded in the minutes as passing by recorded vote (votes reported as 6-0-0).
