Council members discussed a proposed donation of a replacement swim dock from Kootenai County Parks & Waterways at the March 10 meeting. Public Works Supervisor Josh Burg told the council the current city-owned swim dock "measures 13' x 13'" and that the county was offering an 8' x 20' dock as a donation.
Councilors asked who would transport and install the donated dock and requested a delivery cost estimate. Will Butler moved to table the item; Josephine Prophet seconded and the motion carried. The council did not approve the donation at this meeting pending follow-up on transport and installation logistics.
