Board approves personnel actions, holds executive session on personnel and litigation
Summary

At the Feb. 17 workshop the board approved several police-department personnel actions and entered executive session for personnel and litigation matters.
Mayor DiSalvo moved, and Trustee Jennifer Gargiulo seconded, to release part-time dispatcher Ryan Walker from employment; trustees approved the motion. The board also approved removing probationary status for Part-Time Police Officer Nick Giakoumis (completed 52 weeks) and Full-Time Officer Joseph Gemellaro (completed 78 weeks), each on a motion and second that passed unanimously.
Trustee Ramus moved the board into executive session at 8:55 PM to discuss personnel and a litigation update; trustees returned at 10:14 PM. After the executive session Mayor DiSalvo moved to pay Maria Allemont $1,500 for vehicle damages; the motion received no second and was not acted on. The meeting adjourned at 10:20 PM.
