Staff member Jamie Morley told the Village of Waynesville Finance Committee on May 19, 2025, that a full audit is under way after three consecutive years of shorter audits. She said she attended a Finance Directors training and plans to implement new tools for calculating rate increases and for 10-year capital planning after the audit is completed.
Morley reported revenue figures for the year: "We are ahead in RITA collections" and provided collections data for the committee, with RITA collections noted at about $110,283.31 and total net collections year-to-date at $395,641.63. Committee members did not challenge the figures during the report. The audit status and updated planning tools, she said, inform how the village will evaluate future rate adjustments and capital priorities.
