Waynesville reports Well 10 easement recorded, Ferry Road water main repaired and storm-line work nearing paving

Staff reported a water main break on Ferry Road on April 22 that was repaired promptly; SmithCorp completed storm lines on Franklin and is now replacing laterals, with paving scheduled for the end of May. Photographs of flood debris against the wellfield fence were shared and Chief Copeland said he will ask whether a farmer would harvest the displaced grass for feed.
The updates were delivered as routine operational reports; no formal action beyond recording the easement and scheduling paving was taken at the meeting.
