Town engineers from CPL told the Hillsdale Town Board that the recently completed sewer project "went off very well," though a few physical components and some programming items remain before final closeout documents can be issued. Chair (Speaker 3) said the town is waiting on inspection photos and two hatches that are back-ordered, and that operators want minor control reprogramming once the new pumps are in place.
The board discussed project finances during the same update. The chair reported remaining grant reimbursement work and said, "Bob Patterson emailed me and said, hey. We still have $29,000 of ARPA funds that can be used." The board also acknowledged a short-term borrowing arrangement from the general account to pay current bills and approved a motion to publish a letter to Tom DiNapoli as part of project transparency. Board members approved the budget amendments and related reimbursements unanimously.
