The Hillsdale Town Board voted to commit local matching funds for a New York State Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application to fund sidewalk improvements on Anthony and Coldwater.
Chair (speaker 2) explained the match is part of the grant application due March 12 and asked for a motion to commit municipal funds. During discussion Justin (CPL) and board members reported that easement documentation and letters of support were in hand except for one property owner; the missing easement owner was identified by board discussion as Ken Anthony. Members agreed to pursue the outstanding easement and move the application forward.
Board members noted this had been a prior stumbling point for a similar application and emphasized the importance of securing easements. Chair asked staff to circulate any outstanding contact information and promised the board would verify final attachments before submission.
