Board proclaims "The Wall That Heals" to visit Calhoun County Aug. 20-23

Vice Chair Matt Saxton read the proclamation, which noted the exhibit will be open to the public Aug. 20 through Aug. 23, 2026 at Harper Creek High School27s soccer-field complex and described the traveling exhibit as a 0.75-scale replica accompanied by a mobile education center intended to honor and remember those who served in the Vietnam War. The proclamation encouraged residents to visit the memorial and was signed by Derek F. King, Calhoun County Board of Commissioners.
Commissioners invited attendees for a photo after the reading; the proclamation was approved without discussion.
