Committee members asked staff to invite all development and housing boards affected by the proposed moratorium to brief the ad hoc and offer their input before the resolution is submitted to the county commission. Janice Banks of SPW Community Strategies recommended including the purpose of the committee's work — cost-benefit analysis, statutory tests, and the reporting objectives — in the revised resolution so boards and commissioners can see the intended end state.
Members discussed logistics and recommended short time slots (about 10 minutes per board) and accelerated meetings in May so the committee can submit a revised resolution to the commission by May 19. Natalie McKinney said she wanted the committee's work completed "this fiscal year, which would be June," and asked staff to work backwards from that target to set briefings and internal deadlines.
