The City of Campbell authorized funding to equip the Campbell Volunteer Fire Department with a Lifepak 15 patient monitor. The Economic Development Corporation was approved to provide up to $15,000 toward a refurbished unit after a motion by Sharon Monroe and a second by Bob Sutherland; the motion passed unanimously, 5-0. Separately the city agreed to a $5,000 contract to purchase battery, charging cord, leads and other required attachments for the unit; that motion also passed 5-0.
Council recorded both funding approvals as unanimous votes and noted the attachments covered by the city contract include battery and charging cords required for the monitor to operate in the field. No vendor details beyond a refurbished Lifepak 15 were recorded in the minutes.
