The Campbell City Council accepted the resignation of Economic Development Corporation member James Steen at the Feb. 23 meeting. Councilmember Sharon Monroe moved to accept the resignation; Charles Herring seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, 5-0.
For the vacancy, the council considered two applicants. Applicant Don Frazier answered questions from Councilmember Sharon Monroe. Monroe moved to appoint Frazier to the EDC board; Tracey Bowman seconded and the motion passed 4-0 with Amanda Molnar recused and not voting.
