The Maroa City Council approved Ordinance 2026/06/01-1, the Combined Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year 2026–2027, during its June 1 meeting. Alderperson Jeremiah Grider moved the measure and Alderperson Mark Hunter seconded; the roll-call vote recorded Ayes from Alderpersons Blake West, Angela Bogle, Jeremiah Grider, Mark Hunter and Monty Greutman, with Alderperson Matt Riley not present. The motion carried.
Council members and staff said the ordinance finalizes the city’s spending plan for the coming fiscal year and allows appropriation of funds across city accounts.
