Commission approves revised sewer route, change order for Spring Canyon lift station

Planning and Development Director Dustin Meyer told the commission Jan. 6 that construction-route challenges prompted a proposed amendment to the agreement with Canyon Capital Group, LLC to build a new lift station and extend water/wastewater mains to serve Spring Canyon and the future Phantom Creek subdivision.
Meyer said the amendment includes a change order of $285,350 and potential reimbursement of $125,000 from the developers. After discussion, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the amendment to alter the sanitary sewer infrastructure location.
