The City Commission on Jan. 6 unanimously approved a Specific Use Permit for an accessory building sales and display business to operate at 1212 US Highway 60.
Planning and Development Director Dustin Meyer presented the application submitted by Brittany Russell, saying seven property-owner letters were sent within 200 feet and the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended a five-year permit. After a public hearing with no comments, the Commission approved the permit "for an initial period of 5-years," with the motion carried unanimously.
