Council approves routine minutes, financials and accepts staff reports
Summary
The council approved the Oct. 15, 2024 meeting minutes and October 2024 financial statements (each motion passed 4–0 with one absent) and heard staff reports from city administration, the sheriff's office and the fire department.
At its Nov. 12 meeting, the Lorenzo City Council approved routine items on the consent and regular agenda.
Council Member Rhonda Cypert moved to approve the Oct. 15, 2024 regular meeting minutes; Council Member Cheryl Birdwell seconded and the motion passed with four votes in favor and one absence. Council Member Earlene Rampy moved to approve the October 2024 financial statements and accounts payable; Council Member Cheryl Birdwell seconded and that motion also passed 4–0 with one absent.
Staff reports were presented for discussion only and required no action: Michael Chambers (City Administrator) provided the city administrator report; Crosby County Deputy Clay Ragland presented the sheriff’s report; and Fire Chief Josh King delivered the fire department report. The minutes do not include the content of those reports beyond their inclusion on the agenda.
