Board reallocates solar credits, green project HVAC installation set, approves ATV permit and warrants

The Selectboard accepted a proposal by Chair Susan Culp and Treasurer Mary Collins to divide solar credits that had been designated to the West Newbury fire station among other town facilities; the board will forward the change to Green Mountain Power and the solar company to effect the reallocation.
Ms. Culp also reported progress on the Municipal Energy Resilience Program (MERP); HVAC installation at the Town Office is scheduled to begin in early August. Separately, the board approved a permit for Phil Page to operate an ATV for agricultural purposes on town roads (motion by Susan Culp; second by Andrew Lee); Selectboard member Shauna Prime recused herself from the vote to avoid a conflict of interest. The Board approved multiple warrants for payment, recording warrant numbers and amounts in the minutes.
