Board approves minutes, financials, donations and hires — motions carried unanimously

Mr. Casey Posey moved and Mrs. Jenni Winegarner seconded approval of the May 11, 2026 minutes; the motion "carried unanimously, with 6 in favor." Trustees also approved the April financial report and the budget amendment, each by unanimous 6‑0 votes as recorded in the minutes.
The Board accepted multiple donations including two $17,500 gifts designated for the CHS National Speech and Debate Tournament, smaller cash gifts, and in‑kind contributions for the First Year Teacher Graduation. Following an executive session, trustees voted to employ 36 listed individuals for the 2026–2027 school year; the motion carried unanimously with six in favor.
