Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst publicly recognized staff members Greg Weigert, Cathi Dellesander and Brittany Kokofsky for their work securing a Child Health and Development Institute (CHDI) grant for NSS. The board recorded the recognition as part of the meeting's student and staff acknowledgments.
Parkhurst also recognized WLHS athletes for recent conference success: Lucas Silliman (NCCC long jump champion), Jadain Tinling (second place) and Abby Rockwell (second place, pole vault). The board noted the accomplishments and indicated the athletes will be recognized at a future BOE meeting.
