The Canyon Independent School District Board unanimously approved an interlocal cooperation contract with Angelo State University and authorized the Superintendent's designee to execute the agreement. The motion, made by Casey Posey and seconded by Laurie Gilliland, carried with seven trustees voting in favor.
Assistant presenter Danny Parrott described the purpose of the agreement during the consent motions. The Board's action authorizes district staff to finalize and execute the contract as provided in the meeting materials. No trustee statements opposing the agreement were recorded.
