Representative Barb Bragerson summarized the status of the LoopPro trailer bill, noting the group was unsuccessful in moving it last year and that the current meeting was an opportunity to revisit language and intent.
She said members will be able to weigh in as DSHS drafts a framework for potential reintroduction in the new two‑year session. "We are at the beginning, right, of a new 2 year session," Bragerson said, and urged members to provide feedback on references to behavioral health, prevention and scaling efforts. No formal vote was taken on legislative strategy; staff will circulate draft language and a framework for comment.
