Superintendent Jason P. Evangelist told the Board the community's support of the District budget and recent Class Night recognized students with 212 awards and $241,586 in scholarships. He highlighted a student who qualified for the New York State Track and Field Championships and noted student participation in a county youth summit on mental health and social services.
Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Mrs. Szczerba provided an overview of curriculum and instruction initiatives for 20262027, including a Professional Development Plan driven by staff needs assessments, collaboration with Madison-Oneida BOCES on technology-team structure, and elementary implementation plans for Amplify and Eureka curricular resources funded in part by the Tuthill Grant.
Evangelist thanked outgoing board members and student board members for their service and previewed upcoming end-of-year celebrations and graduation activities.
