Committee schedules Bird City WI meetings, reports Birdathon donations and festival plans

At its July 1 meeting the Elm Grove Beautification Committee confirmed that the next Bird City WI meeting will take place July 20 at 9 a.m. in the ParkView Room. The committee recorded participation in the WI NRF Birdathon on June 15 and noted that $361 was donated; minutes state that half of all donations are returned to Birders of the Grove.
Committee members also reported plans for a November Birding Festival and said they have already reserved the Schlitz Audubon Raptor program to attend. The committee discussed outreach and follow-up steps for festival promotion and for the July Bird City meeting.
