Vernon County health staff flag low childhood immunization rates; billboard campaign begins June 21

To address the gap, the health department and partners finalized a vaccine-coalition billboard campaign; the director said the billboards will run from June 21 through August 3 and that the campaign will place flyers in clinic rooms and produce buttons for staff. "The language in the billboard changed after many iterations...we came to a good place," she said. The director reported $2,400 of billboard expense supported by a grant.
