Skokie SD 69 board accepts tentative FY2026 budget, schedules public hearing for Sept. 16

At its June 17 meeting the Board of Education accepted the Tentative Budget for School District 69 for the 2025–26 fiscal year. The motion to approve the Tentative Budget was made by Mr. Dan Freeman and seconded by Ms. Kristyn Bair; the roll call vote recorded Ayes: Dembo, Chao, Perez, Marsden, Freeman and Bair and the motion carried.
The board also approved scheduling a public hearing on the 2025–26 Budget for the regular board meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. and directed that appropriate public notice of the Tentative Budget and hearing be provided. No dollar totals for the full budget were presented in the public segment of the transcript; the record shows the Tentative Budget was accepted as presented.
