Architect Joel Koster told the Board that "the total cost to repair the identified items is just over $8.2M," with approximately $4.5M at Madison, $3.6M at Edison and just over $100,000 at Lincoln.
Superintendent Dr. Margaret Clauson said the next step is for the Facilities and Finance Committee to examine financing options; the district noted it may need to consider issuing Life Safety bonds to fund the work and will return recommendations to the full Board. The approval allows the District to proceed with state review and begin planning a timeline for repairs.
