Landfill operator resigns citing workload; staffing and equipment issues to be discussed next meeting

Klose reported the landfill operator submitted his resignation, citing increasing workload, fill-in availability/ability and difficulty using paid time off (PTO). Klose recommended hiring another operator to accommodate rising patron numbers; the committee will discuss the issue as an action item at the next meeting (scheduled July 10, 2026, at the Marinette County Resource Center).
