Doctor Grama, who spoke on behalf of the district, recommended approval and described the contract as the result of months of negotiation and collaboration. “So this evening, your board is being asked to approve a new 4 year collective bargaining agreement between the District 68 Education Association and Board of Ed covering the years 2026 to 2030,” Doctor Grama said, and thanked bargaining-team members from both sides for their work. A board roll call followed and members answered in the affirmative; the motion was approved and signatures were prepared.
