The Mar-Oco Landfill Committee elected Robert Hoyer as chair and Bart Schindel as vice chair during its June 12, 2026 meeting. Joel Lavarda nominated Hoyer for chair; a motion (Schreiber/Schindel) closed nominations and cast a unanimous ballot electing Hoyer. Later, after Lavarda declined a nomination for vice chair, Bart Schindel was nominated and elected by unanimous ballot (Motion Lavarda/Graese). The minutes record "Motion carried, no negative votes."
The votes followed routine procedural motions early in the meeting after Paul Klose called the session to order at 9:00 a.m. The committee’s member roster for the meeting listed five members present and one excused absence (Michael Ebsch). The committee proceeded to its business schedule after the elections, with Hoyer taking control of the meeting as chair.
