Work group establishes subcommittee topics and tentative schedule for annual report
Summary
The group proposed subcommittees (annual report, infrastructure/multimodal, governance/regulatory, demand profile), tentatively scheduled a short virtual meeting on Sept. 3 and an in-person meeting Oct. 7 (Spokane) and set December 2 as a potential finalization date for the annual report.
Members agreed to create working subcommittees to accelerate the annual report and near-term recommendations. Consultants offered to draft committee charges and suggested three to four committee themes: an annual-report drafting group, an infrastructure/multimodal committee, a governance/regulatory committee (system management), and a demand-profile or industry‑engagement group.
The group tentatively set a short virtual meeting for Sept. 3 to review committee charges, an in-person meeting in Spokane for Oct. 7, and a potential Dec. 2 meeting to finalize a draft annual report for review. Chairs and staff will circulate committee charters and meeting placeholders ahead of the Sept. 3 session.
