Oneida County Library Board elects vice president, approves 2027 budget and plan of service
Summary
At its July 16 meeting the board elected Dianna Blicharz as vice president (if willing), approved the 2027 budget request and adopted the 2026–2030 Plan of Service with corrections; the board also directed a bylaws review on remote attendance for November.
President Amanda Zoellner called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. in Committee Room 2 of the Oneida County Courthouse and the board verified a quorum.
The board handled a series of routine procedural items before taking action on officers and planning matters. A motion to elect Dianna Blicharz as vice president (moved by Kim Widmer and seconded by Lenore Lopez) passed by voice vote; the motion and its passage were recorded as "All 'Aye'; Motion carried." The board later approved the 2027 budget request (motion by Kathleen Olkowski, seconded by Kim Widmer) and adopted the 2026–2030 Oneida County Library Board Plan of Service with corrections (motion by Lenore Lopez, seconded by Kim Widmer). Each motion was recorded as passing unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 2:16 p.m. The next meeting was set for November 12 at 1:00 p.m.
