The board also approved Proposition #2, a transportation proposal authorizing the acquisition of up to four gas-or-diesel school buses at a cost not to exceed $408,500 (the proposition explicitly excludes electric buses). The budget vote will be held May 19, 2026, in the senior high gymnasium from 11:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The consent and budget-adoption motions passed unanimously, 7 Yes, 0 No. President D. List and Business Administrator L. Prinz emphasized that state aid and pending state budget decisions remain factors in final levy calculations. The board also approved required filings including the Property Tax Report Card and scheduled election inspectors for early May and the May 19 vote.
