In discussion earlier in the meeting, a board member (speaker 5) recommended promoting Dennis Cogley to transportation supervisor, saying he 'has all those qualifications' and that the district has posted for a head bus driver and is checking references with decisions expected by the end of the week. The board's procedural approval of district personnel items earlier on the agenda incorporated several hiring and personnel motions.
Administrators also noted candidate pools for physical education and health and that demonstration lessons are scheduled; social-studies candidate Brenda Dolan was recommended for consideration. The district plans to finalize hires and post updates in the coming week.
