Town Manager Suzanne Harvey told the Huachuca City Council on Feb. 26 that further inspection of the Town's Caterpillar D6 dozer showed both sides of the final drive needed replacement, requiring an additional $30,235.63 in repairs.
"It's a critical piece of equipment," Harvey said, noting the dozer had just been paid off and that the repair was necessary to keep operations running. Council approved the additional repairs in a motion moved by Johann Wallace and seconded by Christy Hirshberg; the motion passed unanimously.
