Board renews contracts and approves several staff hires for 2026–27
Summary
The Board approved employment of three staff members for 2026–2027 and renewed professional term and probationary contracts; motions were unanimous.
The Canyon ISD Board approved employment of Hollye Peters, Penny Murphy, and Heather St. Hilaire for the 2026–2027 school year, with compensation as determined by the local salary schedule and subject to assignment by the Superintendent. The motion was made by Mr. Posey and seconded by Mrs. Winegarner and carried unanimously.
The Board also voted to renew professional term contracts and professional probationary contracts as presented; those renewals carried on unanimous votes. The minutes list these actions under personnel approvals and do not include individual contract terms or salary amounts.
