Board backs Port of Superior as preferred Wisconsin shipping port for Hayward biofuel plant

Supervisor S. Hendrickson moved to adopt the measure on committee recommendation; Supervisor Peterson seconded. Committee action was unanimous and the board adopted the resolution. The board directed that copies be sent to the Hayward Biofuel Plant management, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, and Superior/Douglas County Port Authority.
