Staff provided the council with an overview of agenda topics expected at the July 6 meeting: approval of FY27 policies and strategies and work plans; a Planning Commission presentation on proposed LDR changes (most forwarded, with Article 26.07 held back); a first reading and potential public hearing for a transportation-impact fee ordinance; and a possible art recommendation for the Wilson Ward Streetscape Improvement Project.
Staff also noted that if the Development Review Board (DRB) denies a permit application tied to the official map, that denial can trigger a 120-day window during which the council must take action (for example, to exercise purchase options or address easement matters). Councilors asked that staff include realistic views of staff-resource availability when returning with proposed priorities and timing.
