At the June 29 special meeting the council approved the consent agenda by unanimous voice vote. Consent items included signing disbursement warrants, allocating $78,740 of unassigned fund balance to cover payment costs for a police department parking lot at 1930 Drive and authorizing the police chief and public-works deputy director to sign a contract with SV Island.
Council also authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Sawyer Sprinkler Service LLC in the amount of approximately $180,000, subject to final review by the city attorney, and approved an agreement with the South Burlington School District for repayment of expenses to install a virus-suppression sprinkler in May. The Chair declared, "Your consent agenda is passed."
